In the cooperation with Belgrade University and their Center for Career Development, EKO Serbia organized an Open Day on 22nd of November. The visit of the company was organized for selected group of high potential students of Bachelor and Master studies who had the opportunity to visit Head Office and meet its employees. The aim of the event was enhancement of EKO Serbia’s Employer Branding, but also promotion of future internship programs and scholarships.
At the beginning of the event, General Manager, Mr. Vuk Radovic addressed the students and welcomed them on the behalf of the company. After that, guests watched corporate movie which was filmed and directed for the purpose of celebration of 15 years of company in Serbia. PR manager, Marija Lukic, introduced students to the diverse offer of company’s products and services, while HR Manager, Vera Zivkovic presented the opportunities for internships, employment, as well as EKO Serbia’s CSR activities. Four current employees, who started their carrier paths as interns, also shared their experiences and pointed out the importance of persistence, proactive attitude and openness to learning new things. At the end of event, students visited the offices of the company where Commercial Director of EKO Serbia, Mr. Vassilis Makris, welcomed them and gave them useful advice for their future carriers. Students also got to know about work of all departments and finished their visit at EKO Serbia’s petrol station.
