General Ledger Supervisor

  • Maintain and monitor month-end closing calendar
  • Ensure accuracy and relevancy of posting and accruals for monthly reporting process
  • Cooperates with FA Manager in preparation of the monthly management reporting
  • Responsible for all statutory reporting including annual Financial Statements submission
  • Ensures control points of accounting process are in place
  • Coordinate and monitors all accounting and tax related processes of the company
  • Receives, identifies, and performs follow-up on all complex and unusual problems pertaining to general accounting
  • Together with FA Manager coordinated and liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth and seamless audit process
  • Assisting the FA Manager in dealing with financial authorities
  • Ensures efficient and effective procedures of accounting as per local regulations and Group Accounting Manual
  • Ensures compliance with local tax and accounting legislation
  • Ensures accuracy in preparation and submission of tax reports (VAT, income tax, property tax, withholding tax, etc…)

Process improvement: 

  • Identifies and propose process improvement initiatives together with FA Manager
  • Serves as Project Manager for process improvement initiatives
  • Ensures and maintains lean accounting and reporting processes


  • Monitors and coordinates the team
  • Empowers the team in identifying improvements in the accounting processes
  • Communicates goals, objectives, accountabilities, priorities, and authority parameters to the team members
  • Guides and supports team members

We look for:
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or related educational field
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in accounting/auditing/controlling or relevant finance position, preferably in international environment
  • Detailed-oriented person with organizational agility
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles and good command of IFRS
  • Sound knowledge of local accounting and tax legislation
  • Strong experience in staff management, including staff coaching and development
  • Pro-active in identifying opportunities to improve team or process efficiency
  • Fluent in written and spoken English language
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, PPT)
  • SAP knowledge would be an additional asset
